{"id":8154,"date":"2022-02-08T01:34:27","date_gmt":"2022-02-08T01:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/max-drake.cc\/?p=8154"},"modified":"2022-02-08T01:34:29","modified_gmt":"2022-02-08T01:34:29","slug":"windows-ink-workspace-and-pen-drawing-apps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/max-drake.cc\/?p=8154","title":{"rendered":"Windows Ink Workspace and Pen drawing apps"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Using the pen on the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"windows-ink-workspace\">Windows Ink Workspace<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I noticed that the little ink logo was on my laptop and decided to look up what it does, this is the Windows Ink Workspace icon. I watched a couple of videos on it and it seemed like a handy tool. You could write on your screen in a presentation or showing someone else something on the drawing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately the current version doesn&#8217;t do this, you can write to a Whiteboard or to a Screenshot of your screen, so you are writing on an image. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So I went looking for alternatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ppink\">ppInk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There was this video and I was impressed with the tool. I thought it had some great features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"su-youtube su-u-responsive-media-yes\"><iframe width=\"600\" height=\"400\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aMwTok0EfnM?\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture\" title=\"\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div><div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good when it runs but it seems not to activate, keeps on asking for .Net runtime so not stable. A shame as it has great features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"gink\">gInk<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the original that ppInk was based on, a bit limited but easy to use and reliable. I may revisit this later if I do a lot of videoing but I&#8217;ve not got anything on at the moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"screenmarker\">Screenmarker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n[Su_button url=&#8221;https:\/\/screenmarker.en.uptodown.com\/windows&#8221; target=&#8221;blank&#8221; style=&#8221;glass&#8221; background=&#8221;#e12613&#8243; size=&#8221;4&#8243;]ScreenMarker[\/su_button]<div class=\"su-spacer\" style=\"height:20px\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Doesn&#8217;t even line up with where you are drawing, also toolbar too small to easily pick things. I was drawing in middle of screen and it was creating marks to the right off screen and only edge showing. Not recommended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"demohelper\">Demohelper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven&#8217;t tried this but it uses hotkeys.
